The story

From the Netherlands to the heart of Andalucía

Thomas grew up in the Netherlands in a family of entrepreneurs, where hard work, integrity, and keeping every promise were not ideals but daily practice. These foundations shaped the way he approaches every client relationship today.

After completing a bachelor's degree in real estate at Fontys Hogeschool and earning his certification as a property appraiser, Thomas gained extensive experience in the Dutch property market, learning how to navigate complex transactions with clarity, patience, and precision.

A defining half-year journey through South America, Central America and Asia broadened his perspective profoundly. Immersed in diverse cultures, he came to value adaptability, gratitude, and the richness of lived experience over material acquisition, qualities that now define his advisory style.

Today, Thomas is based in Málaga and operates Aluma Real Estate as an independent member of the Baerz & Co international network, guiding international buyers through Southern Spain's most sought-after property markets.

He plays padel under the evening stars, discovers new corners of the Axarquía region at weekends, and has a permanent table reserved at Antigua Casa de Guardia, Málaga's oldest wine bar, where history is poured from the barrel.
